Southern Cross Hunting sustains 15 000 acres of natural habitat in South Africa. This land is entirely

dedicated to over 400 species of fauna and abundant indigenous flora. Hunters in low annual numbers keep

herd numbers healthy and allow us to conserve this unique biome for the future of South Africa's wildlife
and the future of the people and their families who are dedicated to the work of conservation through
hunting.

Southern Cross Hunting employs 15 staff members who support 30+ adult family members and over 25

children.

All the animals harvested on our hunting ranch provide an annual meat supply to our Local Communities,

the 70+ people who are directly and indirectly involved with Southern Cross and the needs of our busy

lodge.

Located at an elevation of 998 meters above sea level, the mountain elevation stands high above the
surrounding area with a small summit area, steep slopes and local relief of 300m or more. The Mountain

Zebra National Park is a close neighbor and the two locations are similar in natural habitat.
