Fly fishing in the backcountry of Wyoming is a phenomenal experience with blue ribbon
caliber trout fly fishing, spectacular scenery and first class camps, with access to more
than 15 alpine lakes and endless miles of rivers and streams. These waters are home to
California Golden Trout, Yellowstone Cutthroat, German Browns, Rainbow Trout,
Cuttbows, Brooke Trout, and Lake Trout. No matter the location, we will put you in the
middle of frenzied top water trout action. Our unique location allows us to sight cast to
fish that are not line shy and more than willing to gobble many assorted dry flies during
the summer.
Many of our clients will experience 70-fish days with a good number approaching 22 inches.
This is
truly a top water experience.
We do these Adventures based on your Adventureness :) You choose the style of fishing/housing you wish:
Level 1:
Stay in a local lodge or hotel and get picked up and taken to many of the local streams and lakes of Wyoming.
This is a very easy adventure but one you will surely remember for the fishing, site seeing and hospitality of Wyomans.
Wade in the streams and rivers around Ten Sleep Wyoming.
Level 2:
Horse back into the wilderness of Wyoming in the lower elevations. 2 - 3 mile ride in to a tented campsite
along one of the beautiful bubbling rivers of Wyoming. This adventure if a closer unity to the outdoors and is non stop
adventure with wildlife, camp life and solitary breathless fly fishing. This is a moderate level of adventure.
Level 3:
High mountain adventure. Switchback a mountain in 3-4 miles on horse which will take 5-6 hrs. Tent on one
of the high mountain rivers, experience some of the most beautiful back country you will ever see, achieve more than
one of your bucket list items! This is an advance adventure that will push you to every limit you have but you do not
need to be overly fit to achieve success. Sitting on a horseback ride is not physically demanding, but switch backing is
mentally demanding :)
